#10 — A few life lessons I remembered because I picked up writing in a journal daily

Lots of people had somewhat resembling a journal when they were a child. But then they stopped. Journaling is such a powerful way to more deeply understand yourself. A way to make sense of the world around you. I was going through mine and found some gems. Note to self: keep journaling. Your journey isn’t done yet.

You are what you read. If your body is a reflection of what you eat, then your mind is a reflection of what you read and study. Fill it with good

You cannot compare your path with anyone else’s. We each have our own struggles, and we each have our own triumphs. Your path is your path for a reason.

Your inner circle is your “dream team.” Surround yourself with people who make you happy, who make you laugh, and who help you when you’re in need. People who genuinely care. If you surround yourself with positive and driven people, your dream will thrive.

To be productive, you have to remove distractions. Productivity is not about multitasking. It’s actually the opposite. It’s about trying to do less, so that you can ultimately do more.

The most important relationship in your life is the one you have with yourself. Without a positive relationship with yourself, every other relationship in your life will suffer. It always starts with you.

Trust is built through actions, not words. You can’t pay attention to what people say or promise, only what they ultimately do. The way someone acts will tell you everything you need to know.

Hope you’ve gained some value from this.
